Mocha Moms, Inc. is a support group for mothers of color who have chosen not to work full-time outside of the home in order to devote more time to their families and communities. I would like to start a women's bible study group in the Northern VA area for Catholic moms (married moms, single moms, working or stay-at-home moms, etc.). I am 37 years old, a wife and mother (I have a 22-month old son), and I realize I need faith and prayer more than ever. I also would love the fellowship and opportunity to learn from other moms. Hi! I am starting this group because, although I found a lot of great groups, I couldn't find one for "mature moms". Moms in their 30s and older with newborns and infants. I am 34 and having my 1st baby in a couple of months, and wanted to start a group for mommies like me. We are the Arlington-South chapter of the International MOMS club (Mothers Offering Mothers Support). We meet during the day when at home mothers most need support. We believe being a mother shouldn't isolate you, so mothers can bring their children with them to all our activities.
